Little things can make the difference between second and second to none. Heard this on a game show where Jeanette Lee pocketed 12 balls in one single shot! A study of that shot explained that even a difference of a millimeter could have caused failure.
This is a strong & inspiring living example of mastery over one's pursuit. It would be amazing if we can all achieve that level of perfection in our professions by attending to the details of our work.

Aamir
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
- Viktor Frank
This phrase resonated in my mind when I watched the movie Aamir. It is a very well made movie where the protagonist is robbed of everything right from the moment he checks out of the airport and then becomes a puppet in the hands of fundamentalists. He does everything as the tone on the cell phone tells him, except for the last moment which makes for a gripping climax.

Unknown faces let you know...
It is strange how our society has evolved in a manner where it is often unknown faces and voices that end up giving us more information than people around us. Take the instance of bloggers... I remember a time, not long ago, when google groups was my first lookup to find solutions to technical issues, but now I regularly find myself surfing blogs hosted on msdn, officezealot and blogger.

A Recipe a Day
I wanted to cook something different today. Well after a long time, I came back home quite early and now had the time to actually eat "cooked, home-made" food.
In my search, I came across this wonderful blog A recipe a day, where the blogger has provided recipes for a variety of spicy Indian dishes. What makes the blog all the more unique, is the blogger's effort to post a snap of each dish for which the recipe has been provided. Even if you are not hungry, visit this blog. Who knows, you might just feel there is room in your stomach for one(or more) of those mouth-watering recipes listed on this site!!

Medicinal value of Grapes
Medicinal value of Grapes
After a long time, I purchased Red seedless grapes from a Safeway store. Out of curiosity, I looked up the web for benefits of eating grapes and here is a compilation of the same.

- Eating Red Grapes cuts the risk of cancer.
- Red grapes are rich in flavonoids – a group of organic compounds made of water-soluble plant pigments.
- Chemicals in grapes can help thin the blood, preventing clots that provoke heart attacks and strokes.
- Antioxidants in red grapes help prevent bad Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol from oxidizing and clogging arteries.
- Chemicals in red grapes also seem to dilate and relax blood vessels and aid in controlling blood pressure.
- Disease-fighting antioxidants are concentrated in a grape's skin and seeds. Deeper pigments have more antioxidants. Hence red grapes are more oxidant rich than green ones.

SRK's toughest dialogue
In a recent interview Shahrukh Khan claims this dialogue from Guddu to be the one that took him 40 takes to get right and at the end of each take he would erupt into laughter
"Doctor uncle, yeh eye transplant kya hota hai?"
Given below is an excerpt from the interview in which he tells us five scenes he liked doing.
Devdas: When I go home for my dad’s funeral, I tell my mother “Achche aadmi the woh....” It is one of my favourite scenes.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: When I come running to the summer school and see Kajol for the first time after so many years and I say, ‘Sari!’ As an actor I really enjoyed doing that scene.
Baazigar: When I say sorry to Shilpa before throwing her off the terrace. In my head the word ‘sorry’ meant ‘I love you a lot’.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge:At the station when Kajol invites me for her wedding and I say, ‘Nahin, mein nahin aaunga.’
Swades: When the kid sells me water in a kulhar at the station and then runs to give me my change. I was moved even while doing it.
Kal Ho Na Ho: When I tell Preeti how she should learn to smile and show her how with a ‘Hee hee’.The timing was just right.
